In the last year we have seen God do amazing things here in St.Croix! For the last two years we have been running the base and ministries with three staff as our new directors applied for long-term visas to move from Brazil. This year their visas were finally granted and are now in their hands! They will be joining us in the beginning of May! We are very excited to start this next phase of the ministry and to see what God has in store for us! Below is a brief update of what the rest of the year will look like for us
Fauger & Ana finally have their visas and will be joining us May 8th! We are so excited to finally have an arrival date! We know that God has placed them here to lead the base into a new season. Please keep them in your prayers as they get settled in and take over leadership of YWAM St.Croix.

June 2012 will be our first overseas mission trip with King’s Kids International! June 13-July 1st we will be in Guatemala with 21 kids and 8 adults. The first week and a half we will be working with YWAM Guatemala doing street performances and evangelism. Then we will take a nine hour bus trip to a small jungle village near the Belize border. There we will be helping at a local medical clinic, assisting families with work projects, and working with school children in the village! Please pray for us as we continue raising the balance of money needed.
King’s Kids Camp is a two-week overnight camp for children ages 8-18. It is a camp that is designed to help the campers go deeper in their relationship with God. They learn about the Nature and Character of God, Intercession, Quiet Times, Missions, and much more. This will be the fourth summer that we have run this program. Every year we see God do amazing things in the lives of the campers as they realize who God is and who He made them to be. It is a powerful time in their lives that they talk about for years.
In January Bob, Joy, and their two children joined us as mission builders. They came with a heart to start an organic garden at the base. When they came the “mule pen” was under 5ft of overgrowth and full of rocks. Now, less than three months later, it is producing delicious fresh produce that is blessing to YWAM, the community, and other ministries. We are excited to see where God is taking this new avenue of ministry and provision

God has gifted us with an amazing property that makes so much of what we do possible. Like any property, it costs a lot to keep it up and running. We desire to be the best stewards that we can with what God has given us. So as we go into the next season of YWAM St. Croix we are trying to complete some projects that will benefit the ministry long term. All of our ministries, operating expenses, and outreaches are 100% supporter funded. We rely on individuals like you to keep our ministry running! We are in a place right now where we need you! We need people willing to partner with us so that we can keep proclaiming Him to the islands. Below we have listed our greatest needs. Would you pray about partnering with us and God to see these needs met?
One of our largest expenses ($1,200 a month) is our mortgage. We currently only owe $40,000! We are SO close to paying it off and being debt free! If only 40 people would be willing to give $1,000 we could pay it off this year and put that $1,200 a month towards ministry instead! We desire to be out from underneath the bank and retire this debt. Would you or someone you know be willing to make this investment into the future and ministry of YWAM St. Croix?

Currently our electricity is 42 cents per KW hour. That translates into $1,700+ monthly electricity bills for our 5-acre property, and prices are going up. As part of looking to see what we can do to best steward what God has given us we are looking towards solar energy. Sun is free and something that we have in great abundance in the Caribbean! We are looking for people and businesses to partner with us to convert at least 2/3 of the property to solar energy. This would save us thousands in electricity costs a year as well as allow us to be completely self-sufficient after hurricanes.
We also need people to come and volunteer! Two people can not keep up with everything on the property and run a camp alone! We rely on people of all ages and skill sets to give of their time and talents to come and serve!

We desperately need people to come and help with our King’s Kids camp this summer! We need cooks, counselors, sports coach, dance & drama teachers, helpers, and people with administrative giftings. If you are willing to come; we can find a place for you to fit in! How many children we can accept into the camp directly relies on how many helpers we have. Would you be willing to give 2-3 weeks of your time to see a child's life changed forever?

We host teams and individual volunteers year round! Do you desire to serve but don’t know where you would fit into global missions? We can provide you with a place to serve that fits your individual gifts and abilities! All you have to do is be willing! We can offer individuals or groups ministry opportunities including children’s ministry, community outreach & service, construction projects, work projects, or serving at the YWAM base. We always need people here to help with cooking, cleaning, yard work, plumbing, repairs, electrical work, and more! Contact us and we will find a place for you to serve. Come alone or bring a group! All you have to do is be willing to come as God leads.
