Vacation With A Purpose
Vacation With A Purpose is different than our other volunteer opportunities such as Mission Builders. Mission Builders is a short term, but full-time volunteer opportunity. We realize that many have a desire to serve, but to also want to take a vacation. This is what Vacation With A Purpose was designed for!
Our Vacation With A Purpose ministry is designed to give you an opportunity to partner with the ministry that Youth With A Mission is doing here on the island, but also to allow you to experience a tropical vacation. You will have the opportunity to serve the community by assisting the full time missionaries who live on the island, and you will have plenty of time to enjoy the beaches and adventures St. Croix has to offer.
We have a two-bedroom apartment that is located across the road from the Youth With A Mission campus. It is a fully furnished apartment with two bedrooms that each host a queen size bed and full bathroom, full size kitchen, living room, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a TV with a DVD player. We also stock the apartment with some basic food items on your arrival so there is no need to worry about immediate grocery shopping. The rental fee also includes airport pickup and drop off (all other transportation is your responsibility). 100% of your rental fee, minus the utilities, goes directly to support the ministry of YWAM St. Croix!
Vacation With A Purpose is part vacation rental and part volunteer service. During your stay you will be asked to participate in at least 3 service projects or ministry times with the YWAM staff. When you contact us we can give you an idea of what ministry/service areas are available as it can vary depending on the time of year that you come. Beyond that, the time is all yours! Explore the island, swim in the crystal clear waters, and enjoy some delicious food at the islands many restaurants.
